We separated the day in 2 parts:
Morning :
Montessori/Curriculum in English and enrichment
After-noon:
Curriculum /play in Spanish or French, total immersion
We separated the week in 3 parts :
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday = work on theme
Thursday = Atelier Math
Friday = Atelier reading & writing
Every week or two weeks, depends on the complexity of the theme, we have a different theme to work on, we develop literacy by continually exposing children to oral and written language, and by building on prior knowledge and language experiences (pictures, play, math, the printed word combine with oral language to help your child understand the symbolic representation that underlies reading and writing)
In childhood, the Montessori term “work” is where the traditional definitions for play and work meet. In Montessori, a child's efforts ,focus and determination are not minimized or written off as futile, this is the roots for success. The word “work” is a respectful way of referring to the natural inclination to explore and learn, or as most people refer to it as “play”.

WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND TO ADD AFTER CHOOL HOURS FOR FAMILIES NOT SPEAKING THE LANGUAGE AT HOME, PRACTICE IS AS IMPORTANT AS KNOWLEDGE TO REACH A BILINGUAL GOAL.
Immersion in Spanish or French : Language immersion is a method used to teach students a second language where the language being taught is primarily used during teaching. This means that for the majority of the after-noon, students are spending time learning, hearing, and speaking in a language other than their native tongue. Our Spanish/French for children program offers an immersive experience for children up to twelve years old. Even toddlers can begin learning the basics of a second language. Through fun activities conducted exclusively in Spanish/French, children learn to associate words and sounds with specific actions. This experience helps commit the learning to memory through practice, repetition, and sound recognition.
FRENCH OR SPANISH LANGUAGE IMMERSION THROUGH MONTESSORI, PLAY AND CURRICULUM
An experienced French or Spanish tutor/teacher will teach French or Spanish by immersion using Montessori materials, France or Spain curriculums and play...
Your child will not only learn a language but develop his knowledge of the world.
• Circle time : This is a structured group time when all children and teachers come together at circle. We take attendance, do calendar, and any of the following: songs, dance and movement, show-and-tell, calendar, weather, reading stories, developing attention span, discussion of past, current or future events, issues and concerns, introduction of new materials, and foreign language activities.
• Montessori activities : Children choose individual work from any of the following curriculum areas: language, math, sensorial, practical life/everyday living, art and science. Teachers observe children, record their observations, and work with the children both individually and in small groups. The environment and the materials are designed to promote and cultivate self-image, self-esteem, independence, sense of order, and grace and courtesy. They teach specific skills in large and small motor movements, speech and language, familiarity and fluency with the numerical and decimal systems, and arithmetic. They aid the development of visual, aural, tactile and neuromuscular discrimination and appreciation, creativity through visual arts, respect and appreciation for both the natural and indoor environments, and appreciation and curiosity about different cultures. The tone of the work period is one of focused and energetic industry, encouraging and nurturing the child's natural love of learning. Our guides will know their group and will be able to direct them toward work serving their evolution.
• Work on table : Preschool themes are sometimes referred to as “theme units” or “thematic units”. They are centered around a specific topic — like insects, transportation, or snow.Once the topic has been decided, many of the learning activities are planned around it. Themes are basically a way to tie early childhood subjects together with an overriding concept. We are teaching a variety of skills/concepts based around the same category, it helps their brains make connections faster. • Lunch/Snack, clean up : Teachers give special attention to helping the toddlers develop eating skills such as pouring, drinking, using forks and spoons, opening and closing lunch boxes, cleaning after themselves, etc.
