ENROLLMENT FOR KIDS FROM 2 YEARS OLD TO 6 YEARS OLD
1. VISIT OUR SCHOOL:

2. APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION + APPLICATION FEE:
Complete the printable admission application at the bottom of this page
Pay the nonrefundable application fee of $200 for school year , $100 for afterschool only or $50 For Summer Camp as soon as your initial enrollment is accepted PRESCHOOL(initialapplicationpreschool/afterschool) , AFTERSCHOOL (initialapplicationpreschool/afterschool), SUMMER CAMP (summercampapplication)
how to pay the fee:
when you ll send our initial application ( pdf at the bottom of this page) we will build your profile on our family’s app “brightwheel “ and will invite you to pay the fee directly on this app as soon as your child is accepted.
The application is not validated without the application fee . We will send you a confirmation after reception.
3. ASSESSING READINESS (only for preschool):
After the Application is received; Atelier De La Casa will contact you to schedule a time for your child to visit. Teachers will spend time with your child assessing their readiness for school. Students are assessed for both their academic skill level as well as emotional capacity.
4. ACCEPTANCE:
Once the above steps are completed, you will receive a notification within 1 week concerning the status of your child's admission to our school. If your child is accepted into our program, an Enrollment Contract will then be issued.
5. ENROLLMENT:
Complete the Enrollment Contract and school forms, submit it with the enrollment deposit of 1 month tuition or the full year tuition of the program chosen, within 10 days. The enrollment process is complete when payment is received. This deposit is used as your family's school year commitment to Atelier De La Casa and will be adjusted into the last payment of the school year.
When does re-enrollment take place?
Atelier de la casa’s re-enrollment period takes place during the month of February. Returning students are given first priority and are offered an Enrollment Contract for the next school year during this time. For current students to secure their status for enrollment, $200 down payment on next year tuition will be asked.
At this time, applications will also be sent to siblings of currently enrolled students 24 months of age or older. To ensure priority status for enrollment, completed applications and $100 (siblings fee) must be submitted by March 31. Siblings who apply after March 31 will be placed in the waiting list in order by date of application with applicants who are new to Atelier De La Casa.

Transfers from other Montessori schools
New students

As a reminder, all children 6 months through 59 months of age enrolled in New York City Article 47 & 43 regulated pre-kindergarten programs (Child Care, Head Start, Nursery, or Pre-K) must receive one dose of influenza vaccine between July 1st and December 31st of each year.
